Dear Parents,

Thank you to those parents who are supporting our e-bay auction. We will be putting items on e-bay over the next week or so. There is still time to send any new or nearly new items in with your child to support this activity.


Parent/Children Christmas Lunch – Thursday 11th December
Your child is bringing home today a separate letter about the main Christmas Lunch for parents and children at Greenway. Please could I ask you to complete your slip as soon as possible for this event.

Pumpkin Raffle in support of “Dogs that Help Us”
Thank you for supporting our Pumpkin Raffle, which was organised by Jennifer in Year 4. The raffle raised £28 which will go towards our current charity “Dogs that Help Us”.


BBC Children in Need – Friday 14th November
A reminder that we will be supporting the BBC Children in Need Appeal this Friday 14th November. Friday will be a non-uniform day and children can make a small donation to the Appeal. If possible, children are encouraged to wear something spotty. On the day children can also bring in cakes or biscuits to sell, as well as some loose change to buy a cake.

Senior Citizens’ Christmas Lunch – Wednesday 3rd December
There is still time to nominate senior citizens for the Christmas Lunch, which will be held on Wednesday 3rd December at 1.45pm. You will find a nomination slip overleaf.

Christmas Fayre – Friday 12th December, 3.30pm – 6.00pm
Any offers of help at the Christmas Fayre will be most welcome. If you are able to help, please complete the slip overleaf and return it to the school office.

Parent/Teacher Consultations
Parent/teacher consultations generally take place on alternate weeks. This term they will be held on Tuesdays from 3.30pm – 4.30pm. If you wish to meet with one of your child’s class teachers please send a note in and the teacher will make an appointment for you. If the parent/teacher consultation dates are not convenient for you then teachers are available to meet at other mutually convenient times. The remaining parent/teacher consultation dates for the second half of the autumn term will be 25th November and 9th December.
