At the start of next term we will be introducing a school meals’ promotion scheme. It will work quite simply whereby a child who has at least 3 school meals in a week will receive one raffle ticket. Each half term a draw for a child’s bicycle will take place. Since our school meals is administered electronically it will be easy for us to allocate the correct number of weekly tickets to children who qualify for them.
A Governors’ working group is also looking at other strategies to promote our meals system and to reward parents and children for their support.
Year 5 War Time Show for Parents – Today, Wednesday 2 nd April, 7pm
Year 5 look forward to performing their War Time Show for parents this evening at 7pm. The children have been asked to arrive at school between 6.30pm and 6.45pm.
End of Spring Term
Spring Term ends this Friday 4 th April at the normal time of 3.30pm. Children return to school for the first day of the Summer Term on Monday 21 st April
Holiday Activities 7 th – 11 th April inclusive and 14 th – 18 th April inclusive
Can I remind parents that school will be open during the Easter break for holiday activities. Spare booking forms are available from the school office. Numbers will be limited, so if you wish to make a definite booking and be guaranteed a place please complete the booking form and return it with the correct amount of money by Friday 4 th April.
School Discos – Thursday 24 th April
School discos will take place on Thursday 24 th April. Your child will bring home a separate flyer with further details.
Horsham Leisure Link Table Tennis Club for Beginners, Fridays 4.45pm – 6.10pm
Places are available at the Table Tennis Club for Beginners which will be held on Fridays from 4.45pm to 6.10pm in the school hall. Further details can be found in the Greenway Active Living Centre Summer Term Programme which your child has already brought home. Further copies are available from the school office.
