We set off in good time
and made excellent progress to the tunnel. We caught an earlier
train than expected. A good drive to where we lunched, then back
on the motorway again to Bayeux. The children enjoyed the tapestry
and an ice cream. Finally onto Granville where we arrived at 7:00pm
local time.
A tasty meal and then
to our rooms. After unpacking and completing our diary and other
work we relaxed on the beach. Children going to bed as i write this
at 10:45pm
After having
lunch at the services we climbed the viewing tower.
The views were well worth
it.
